Latest New York Times-Siena College Poll Shows Dead Heat
The latest New York Times-Siena College poll finds former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden essentially tied in a hypothetical 2024 matchup.
The poll, conducted July 6-10, found Biden leading Trump by just 1 point, 44% to 43%, among registered voters.
The margin of error is 3.5 percentage points.
Harris Ramps Up Attacks on Trump
Vice President Kamala Harris has stepped up her attacks on Trump in recent weeks.
On Wednesday, at a rally in Dallas, Harris said Trump is "unfit" to be president.
"He's a danger to our democracy," Harris said.
Trump's Legal Woes Slammed By Harris
Harris has also criticized Trump over his legal woes.
On Tuesday, at a campaign rally in Atlanta, Harris said Trump is "facing the consequences of his own actions."
"He's being held accountable for his crimes," Harris said.
Harris Polling Well Against Trump
Harris has been polling well against Trump in recent polls.
A recent poll by Emerson College found Harris leading Trump by 6 points, 48% to 42%.
A poll by Quinnipiac University found Harris leading Trump by 4 points, 47% to 43%.
