Who Can Vote in Ohio?

To be eligible to vote in Ohio, you must be:

A U.S. citizen
At least 18 years old on Election Day
A resident of Ohio for at least 30 days prior to the election

How to Register to Vote

There are three ways to register to vote in Ohio:

Online: You can register online at the Ohio Secretary of State's website: https://www.sos.state.oh.us/elections/voters/register-to-vote
By mail: You can download a voter registration form from the Secretary of State's website and mail it to your local board of elections. The form is also available at public libraries and other government buildings.
In person: You can register to vote in person at your local board of elections. You can find the address of your local board of elections on the Secretary of State's website.
