Juventus claimed their first league victory of the season with a 1-0 win over Monza on Sunday. Federico Gatti scored the only goal of the game in the 19th minute, volleying home from a corner. Monza had chances to equalize, but they were unable to find a way past Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
The win moves Juventus up to eighth in the Serie A table, while Monza remain in 15th place. Juventus will next face Spezia on Wednesday, while Monza will host Udinese on Thursday.
